Unfortunately, the Main Street Mornington Festival will not be going ahead in 2026. Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to secure the level of funding needed to make the event financially viable.

We know our Festival is something many businesses, artists, performers, and people in our community look forward to each year, and we’re incredibly grateful for the ongoing support, enthusiasm, and encouragement we’ve received.

We will continue to review opportunities for the future and will provide further updates as they become available.

The Main Street Mornington Festival is a family-friendly, free community event that attracts thousands of visitors each year to the iconic Main Street of Mornington.

It showcases local produce, wine, food, art and music, while also providing free entertainment for visitors with 7 stages and performance areas, kids activities and roving performers. It runs on the third Sunday of October from 11am–5pm.

Main Street Mornington Festival provides an opportunity to showcase local arts and culture, and highlights the Mornington Peninsula’s arts and culture for the broader community to experience. It is a free public event that welcomes all ages and all demographics and is accessible to all. It provides an outdoor live music experience to the Mornington Peninsula Shire.
